I recently stumbled upon your blog and I love it. I’m not dating now but once my almost 16 year old daughter turns 18 I plan on getting back into the dating game. For now, I’ll live vicariously through you and your blog! hehe!

  2. hi cindy, welcome to SATC. i waited (just 16 months) for my younger child to go to college before i started dating. for a while i didn’t talk with my kids about the dating, but by now they’ve met a couple of the men. i even let my older child help me screen one guy recently…he didn’t pass muster.

GREAT post! I should start tallying up my stats…. yikes, I just tallied the (approx) number of days since my last serious relationship: 1342 days! And 118 first dates during that time.

  4. and my stats have already changed since then. things are hopping. is it really that long since your last serious relationship? don’t you count Good Voice? he was just last spring. well, that was relatively short-lived, i guess. i’m beginning to count the days since the last kiss, i mean the last Real kiss. but i know another one is on the way! yes, i have extra-sensory powers.
