1) I take my profile down from JDate.
2) I look for Plan C’s, so I can print it out to have, and it is gone already.
3) I receive a response from SDF, in his usual laidback tone, thanking me for my honesty, saying no to Saturday (he’ll babysit for his grandchildren), and wishing me luck.

well, i don’t know if it’s altogether luck. to get myself sane and lovable enough so that someone like plan c would fall for me (and to get myself sensible enough to chose the right man — IF IF IF i have, and who knows yet??) has (evidently) taken me 60 years. i’ve been working hard — not just on the clothes and the exercise and the hair and the bantery emails, but on understanding what i’ve done and why. and however the 2 good shrinks in my life [one from 1980s and brand new one, who only gets credit for a few weeks] have helped, i’ve been the one working systematically and diligently on overcoming — so much — mostly an absent, invisible, denying, unloving father. took me till 60 — if, that is, all the promise of plan c proves true. so go for it yourself — it’s not luck; it’s work — and get it before you’re 60.

talk about refreshing! i have never read about anyone else who went to the dating site and the guy had taken his profile down. typically they see that he has logged in. sometimes they see he has even posted an update and a better picture.

just hung up from 2-hr phone call with Plan C. no words to describe it….. we both kept saying how lucky we are.
