mimi…so sorry to hear this..i’m late in reading all this.
i always wonder how men (i know some women too, but not you or i) can be so two faced…i can’t think of another term for it.
my ex husband floated back and forth between me and his new girlfriend for two years of our separation telling her we weren’t having sex….even though we were…and going to marriage counseling.

i think it’s detachment from their feelings, seeing everything with tunnel vision, no consideration for anyone else’s feelings…

    big hugs to you!!!

  8. thank you, tracya. the term one of my readers came up w. is that he was ‘keeping his options open,’ and i think that says it all. i was his fallback woman, in case she decided not to come back to him after all!

  9. tracya Says:

makes you wonder how fragile a man’s ego is that he has to have some/any woman on a string, just in case…

here we are… perfectly capable, intelligent, sexy women….alone…

i don’t feel the need to boost my self esteem by playing on men’s emotions.
hey, i can do one night stands, friends with privileges….but this is what i struggle with in my current relationship….

call it what it is….if performer had said he was undecided about the future with his wife…then it’s your call if you’d want to continue, you’ve been forewarned.

maybe we, as women do hold all the cards…we have friends and family..and the rabbit!!!

Oh, Mimi, that’s so sad… I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you’re doing alright. I’ll be thinking about you.
